Scientists are the True Wizards

What is a wizard, or a magic practitioner, or an adept, or sorcerer, or witch? What do they have in common? The use of symbols intoned or inscribed in a specific order to bring about a desired change in reality is the central focus of those magic practitioners in our literary history, fictional or not. While the mainstream religions have taken a starring role in our history books, there have always been those who study reality directly instead of relying on a religious mediator or prophet. Of course, in the past, due to established religious norms dictating laws in almost every country in the world, those seekers after the truth outside of the mainstream religious doctrines, have been labeled heretics, witches, blasphemers, and so on. So many people formed secret societies, not because they wanted to overthrow the major religious authority of the land, but rather because they sought a safe place to gather with like minds who thirsted after actual knowledge of the world, which, to them, seemed all too often separate from the stories told in the temples of their people. The secret societies of every land were the seeds of modern science. For example, the early alchemists studied the properties of metals and the elements in general, which eventually yielded to modern chemistry. Most people know about those types of alchemists. There were also some who espoused the higher science of mental alchemy, the art of transmutation of the mental state to achieve the philosophers stone, or, as I am inclined to believe, the developed mind of a true philosopher. From ancient times, philosophers have guided and enlightened mankind's pursuit of true knowledge, and this pursuit eventually gave birth to the seed of science which is so prevalent today. The secret societies of the past used symbol and ritual to achieve their goals of manipulating matter and consciousness, and from a modern point of view, merely lacked the technology and tools to investigate and carry out these goals effectively. Now, physics, chemistry, neurology, astronomy, mechanics, and every other scientific field uses symbols, placed in a specific order, to explain and ultimately manipulate changes in matter, energy, vibration, and mental states. What is this but magic? Today's scientists are limited by the tools they use just as their counterparts in the past were. Even now, mainstream science relies on the "Five Senses". The subtle, spiritual, and largely hidden aspects of this universe are being probed by the relatively limited tool known as quantum physics, which is trying to find a way to describe the truly vibrational,non-material, and unified nature of our reality. At some point, we may figure out what symbols to use to be able to describe everything, but honestly, the true nature of reality lies beyond words, and thus, beyond the limitations of the five senses. Will we ever be able to scientifically identify and quantify that which is inherently beyond these five senses?

Ok here are some super funny extra cheesy and metaphysically gutbusting pun jokes

Police were called to a daycare where a three-year-old was resisting a rest!
Atheism is a non-prophet organization...
When a clock is hungry it goes back four seconds...
The dead batteries were given out free of charge...
Be true to your teeth, or they will be false to you...
and this one...almost a proverb:

Those who throw dirt are sure to lose ground....

Well I hope whoever reads this will enjoy!

Lonely here at my Blogpost...

Well, hopefully my blog won't be just like the media feeds that nasa sends out to space in hopes that some alien beings will find it and respond, but if so i will just keep posting for my own enjoyment! Thought for today: Did Jesus ever go to India? I have had this discussion with friends and have to this day never heard convincing historical evidence. Some of His teachings remind me of Advaitism, and his demeanor and powers seem strikingly similar to accounts of some of the great yogis throughout history. Anyway, perhaps someone will come along and provide insight. I am going to be trying to find jokes to put on this page soon, so if anyone has some extra jokes they don't need (not too dirty of course) that would be great. In fact, puns, and extra cheeasy jokes are especially welcome. namaste, lachaim, allahuabha, abrakadabra, and peace homefries!

Ok, well now that I have this blog set up...how bout some questions for the day?

Is knowledge based on experience? Scientists say that empirical research is THE best way to arrive at an accurate understanding of the external and internal universe. Beliefs don't really seem to have much weight in a scientific paradigm, and that is a Good thing in my opinion. In order to KNOW something, many people, including myself, feel that direct experience is essential. This, if I may humbly say, applies readily and necessarily for those experiences we have with that layer of this universe, (ourselves included therein), which is for the most part beyond the scope of the accepted five senses. Those involved in any occult or esoteric study, are not just avid philosophers, but rather are the ones who form the seed thoughts for those scientists who make breakthroughs in fields such as quantum physics, or within the fields of therapy and medicine. How many doctors and scientists are now admitting to the awesome powers of the mind to heal or self destruct? How many have been able to design instruments to measure such things as brain wave activity, which at one point was considered knowledge reserved for sages or special secret societies? This "secret knowledge", passed down from adept to initiate throughout the years, has a tendency to be cast aside until some thoughtful person nurtures it into fruition as solid, empirical theory. So the study of such works as the Kybalion, or the ancient paths of Yoga, or Qabbalah, are important for us who thirst for more than the cup of blind faith offered by majority of our people. For those who study the so called "mystical" or "esoteric" paths, we can help push the knowledge of the subtle world. Instead of saying "I believe in God", we can say "I Know God, for I am part of that which is called God" (or whatever name one wants. Anyway, enough blabbin for me. If anyone has a different take on belief versus knowledge or would like to add to this rather long train of thought, please do.

Ok so its a cheeesy title for a blog, but this is my first one teehee

Nothing like a bit of humor which has no bearing in sense and will not be available for the logical mind to try to grasp, to aid me in naming this blog. I am sure nobody will even see this thing. But if by some random parasympathetic resonance ebbing gently from within my e-being reaches out and finds you, then welcome friend. I am a deadly serious investigator into all things Hermetic and, you could say, Magikal....Magickal?....Majical? well whatever. Words and ritual are not the focus here as much as true knowledge. If everything is from the same source, then nothing is created and thus nothing dies, and nothing is truly material, because what material outside of the All is there to use for creation? WE are All the All....When we say I it is because we suffer from multiple personality disorders in the larger context of a dream we are currently having. Sound crazy enough? well if you like that kind of jibber jabber, then let your lips wander freely! Cuz if you understand even the tip of this iceberg of knowledge, then there are many possibilities of which the inquiring mind wants to know! So SHARE!!!
